Avrahàm Alnakar

Rabbì Avrahàm Alnakar – אברהם אלנקר (conosciuto con l’acronimo אבא בר יואל) figlio di Joseph.

Nasce a Fez in Marocco nel 1740, dove ritorna dopo un breve soggiorno ad Algeri.

Nel 1783 soggiorna a Tlemcen, e poi a Tunisi dal 1785 al 1788. Da lì si trasferisce a Livorno, dove rimane fino alla sua morte avvenuta intorno al 1803.

È stato coeditore con Rabbì Yaqov Abenaim del  תקוני הזהר (Tikunei ha-Zohar) nel 1789 . E anche editore di libri di preghiere .

Fu amico del Grande Rabbino  Sefardita Chaim Yosef David Azulai conosciuto con l’acronimo di CH.Y.D.A.

Delle sue opere ci è pervenuto:

 1 ) Un introduzione e alcune poesie nell’edizione del Sefèr ha-Zohar, stampato a Livorno nel 1789 edito da  Castello e Sahadun.

2) Un Mahzor con il suo commento dal nome זכור לאברהם (Zekhor Le-Avraham) stampato a Livorno nel 1798.

 3)Il libro אפרעא דאברהם (Afraha DeAvraham) inedito rimasto manoscritto.

 4)Il libro של מזמור ס”ז בתהלים בצורת מנורה על סגולותיו (Al Segulotav) è questo un commento cabalistico sulla Menorà, il candelabro del Tempio , litografata da lui.

5) Un libro di Amuleti in forma manoscritta  conservato presso la biblioteca di Cambridge Harvard.

6 ) Note al libro שרשי השמות (Shorshei Hashemot) del Rabbino Moshè Zacuto, ancora manoscritto presso la biblioteca UCLA Los Angeles.

 7) Firma del colophon del libro di preghiere manoscritto nord-africana presso l’Academia RSR di Cluj .
